WELCOME, I’M GLAD YOU’RE HERE

It’s been a while since I’ve had much of an online presence. I’ve been focused on my life in the real world. For those of you who don’t know me, I thought I’d share a little bit. I am Steph Langdon, first and foremost a mom and wife, this is how we mutually chose to live our life as a family of four. I studied nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, where I also became a Registered Dietitian. During my undergrad I played indoor volleyball for Team Canada and finished my career with a professional season in Finland. I started work in private practice/sports nutrition, which evolved to industry/food commodity communication work once I became a mom. Since then we moved to San Francisco and I focused on raising our two kids and created an interview series about all the amazing things dietitian can do. Then Covid-19 arrived and I helped my daughter through zoom kindergarten, wrote/illustrated a book for self printing, and started some ‘hobby’ pages about the importance of small things and fun food. I’ve only recently acquired employment authorization for the USA, so I am now self publishing my book and have a few more ideas up my sleeve for the future. Breast cancer did decide to arrive in our lives for my fortieth birthday, so was my focus for most of 2023, as well as encouraging women to get their annual mammogram and perform regular self breast exams.
