My education includes 2 Bachelors (BASc. in Nutrition and BSc in psychology) and a Masters of Applied Nutrition (MAN) that included various internships. I continue to educate myself through self-directed learning and also through attending various conferences in my areas of specialty/interest.

We had very parallel career paths: counseling, sports, and the grocery store experience. As part of my job I work on scholarly work (books and podcasts), speaking at conferences, and mentoring students through clubs and other college activities. My job gives me a lot of freedom to work on projects that I find helpful to our profession and the public.
